It is advisable that all 1st Kyu and Dan grades aged 18+ who are taking Dan gradings attend WKU tournaments as helpers before they take their grading. Their licence will be stamped to record this as part of the grading.

It is important to WKU that all our Dan grades participate as helpers at WKU tournament events. Helping does not exclude participation in the competition – there are a great variety roles that senior grades can take to help make WKU tournaments run smoothly, safely and successfully.

The next WKU tournament is on Sunday 4th May 2014 at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre, Weston-super-Mare. Please check the website calendar for future WKU tournaments dates.
