On the 25th May 2104 WKU’s Shaun Langson and friend, Paul Lowe, will be set off  from the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol on a short cycle ride from Bristol to Valencia!

“We both started road biking just two years ago so are still fairly new to this. After completing a Bristol to Paris Challenge we decided we wanted to plan something bigger. Two years later here we are!”

The route from England to Spain, some 1,000+ miles they cycled over the Pyrenees to a height off 6,000+ ft, taking 12 days to complete the journey. Cycling around 100 miles each day through the French countryside they climbed over the Pyrenees and descended into the heat and highways of Spain  and on day 12 they completed their journey, arriving at the iconic Science Museum complex in Valencia

“We’ve only gone and done it!”

Shaun and Paul are raising money to go to Bristol Karate Club, Teenage Cancer Trust and Children’s Hospice South West.
