An important date in your 2016 competition diary – Sunday 27th November 2016 is the WKU Winter Open Invitational Competition 2016 at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre, Hutton Moor Road, Weston-super-Mare, BS22 8LY. (M5-Junction 21)

Entry is by invitation only. Registration 9.00am, start Juniors 9.30am and Seniors 11am –some Senior categories may start from 11am. There will be a licence check on the entrance door.

JUNIOR COMPETITORS TO ARRIVE BY 9.00am SENIORS TO ARRIVE BY 10.30am

FURTHER LICENCE CHECKS WILL BE MADE ON ALL SEMI-FINALISTS – NO VALID LICENCE, NO MEDAL.

Please note that this competition is open to members of the English Karate Federation or members of other WKF affiliated national governing bodies and competitors not in contravention of WKF statute 21.9 only. Licence checks will be carried out on the day and competitors are reminded that a valid licence must be presented upon request of the organising body or its representative, failure to do so may result in the entry being denied. If you can’t fulfil this criteria please don’t put us in the awkward position of having to refuse your entry.
