WKU Colchester present Paul Hoye Memorial Award 2023

On Monday 4th December Steve “Dibs” Doubfire, 3rd Dan and Ben Ambrose, 1st Dan, were jointly awarded the Paul Hoye Memorial Award.  

The trophy was donated to Colchester Traditional Karate Club by Paul’s Dad, Charles, following Paul’s tragic death in a motorbike accident in May 1999.  

Paul was a dedicated 1st Dan Black Belt, long standing member of the club until his passing.  Ever endeavouring to encourage and support others, fondly remembered to this day by all who knew him.
