A Referee’s course was held on Sunday 26th February at the Bristol Dojo. It was very well attended with squad members, coaches and instructors. Officials and instructors from other associations were also there, one notably Sensei George Grimes 8th Dan from the Wado Karate Federation.

The objective of this course was to make everybody aware of the new rule changes and how this would affect athletes and officials from now on in Kumite. Many important questions were asked and answered during the course and athletes and officials alike found it a very informative experience.
