On Tuesday 20 December 2022, at WKU’s Jersey Wado Ryu, David Louis, represented Western Karate Union and Sensei Alan Flook in presenting Roku Dan (6th Dan) to Sensei and Chief Instructor of Jersey Wado Ryu, Ryan Lambotte.

Ryan has trained for 42 years, 34 of those as a Black Belt. His dedication the art, the people of Jersey and the local community is second none and it was wonderful that this is recognised.
