At the EKF Kyu Grade Championships on the 17th January, 2016, the English Karate Federation Referees Commission presented WKU’s Nigel Langson with a plaque in recognition his service to refereeing over the last 20 years by the at the Kyu Grade Championships. Congratulations Nigel.

WKU Chief Referee, Ivor Thomas, says “I would just like to say that Nigel has worked professionally and to the highest Standard every time he has officiated on the Tatami. He has always been reliable and hard working and an asset to the British and English Referees Department. In addition he is a great ambassador for the WKU when at British and English Championships.

We hope Nigel will still pass on his experience and knowledge to WKU members who wish to follow the Official’s path and I would personally like to thank him for his commitment over the last 20 years and wish him all the best for the future.”
