Report from WKU Chief Referee, Ivor Thomas.

I attended the European Karate Championships in Montpellier France 4-8th May 2016.
During that period I was selected to Judge and for the very first time selected to Referee at the highest level of European Karate for the Male team Matches and First to Referee the Female matches.

After two days of eliminations the European Referees Commission select Officials on the their performance to judge/ Referee the Medal bouts (Bronze, Silver & Gold). I was selected to Judge in two Bronze Finals and was named as an Official (only 20 named) for the Final day on the Sunday.
