This report from Ivor Thomas, WKU Chief Referee:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your outstanding work on the Tatamis at this competition.

With something close to 750 entrants it is a sign of the high standard of refereeing that there were no major issues from coaches.

Finishing time was approximately 7.00pm  because of the hard work of all the referees, making it an extremely successful tournament.

I would like to thank Steve for taking over the role of Chief Referee when I had to leave and hope you had a safe and not to arduous journey home.

Congratulations to Chris Summers who was promoted to WKU Referee and to Gary Doughty who was promoted to EKF Judge A.

A big thank you to all of those who worked so hard and helped toward the success of this event and many thanks for your continued support. I hope you will be available to help us at the next WKU competition in November 2013.
