On Saturday 15th November 24 students from the Virgin Active club were successful in grading to their next belt. There was a lot of effort even from the youngest members who showed a great deal of enthusiasm throughout. Well done to everyone. Kevin Barrett

WKU’s Gary Doughty, Brian Wragg and Ivor Thomas attended the 2nd Central England International Open Championships in Birmingham on Sunday 19 October 2014. With nearly 600 Competitors it was a very busy day and all WKU Officials were used extensively throughout the day including for the Finals.

Elkai Higashi Karate Championship was held Saturday 20 September 2014 at Brunel University London. Six members from WKU’s Yokai Karate-do competed winning 2x gold and 2x bronze medals.
