On 4th September 2011, an EKF Referees course was held in Colchester. The course consisted of practical training, theory training, signals, and finally the Referees exams, in which two members of the WKU passed successfully.
Congratulations are in order for Brian Wragg, who was awarded provisional Kumite Ref “A”, and Gary Doughty, awarded provisional Kumite Judge “B”.
They will now proceed to partake in the EKF Championships, where they will be assessed on their practical ability; if successful their qualifications will be fully ratified!
